Tuney Tuesday–Hips Don’t Lie

This morning it was absolutely pouring outside and I had 3 miles to run.  I opted to stay inside and do intervals on the treadmill.  I despise running on the treadmill, but it’s great for intervals because I have to run the set speed or risk flying off, so it pushes my limits which I wouldn’t normally do on the trail.

Regardless,  I wasn’t particularly in the mood to run inside OR outside, but I got on the mill just for the sake of getting on.  I turned on my iPod, and this was the first song to come on.  I don’t usually run to it, but it’s okay to warm up to.  And it definitely worked for me this morning… by the time I was done with my warm-up, I was wishing I could “move like I came from Columbia.”

(Thank you Kelly at honestme363 for Tuney Tuesday, 🙂 )

I cannot fully express how happy I am to have you partaking in Tuney Tuesday. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! P.s. you have also inspired me to start to jogging, a little here and there so kudos to you for making me get in a bit better shape. ☺

Isn’t it amazing what a great tune can do for your workout. I’m a little embarrassed to tell you but my favorite power song is “Do Not Pass Me By” by MC Hammer. Seriously, how can you not pound it out to that tune? (I’m SO not cool!)

I love MC Hammer, (because I’m “Too Legit To Quit,” haha), but I don’t know that one! I’m going to have to check it out! I’m always wanting more music motivation! Thanks!!

“I have to run the set speed or risk flying off,” OMG SO MUCH THAT. The treadmill scares the shit outta me. I can powerwalk on it for hours but running is going to take practice. Good job getting it done!

I know right! It sucks because I have to concentrate on foot placement every single step, so it’s never “relaxing” or enjoyable. It’s hard freaking work, hehe! And thank you, 🙂
