LOL! It’s so funny you posted this, because aside from this weekend, I had worked the previous eight days in a row, and all that came out of the laundry was my work clothes and pajamas! haha. I apologized to Lucas for being so lazy when I’m not at work, lol! 😉
Oh yes, that does suck even more. I went once a week to the laundromat religiously for years upon years. However, sometimes it’s a good place to catch up on magazines!! Do you remember who JFK Jr was? I was doing my laundry when his plane went down and it came on the news. There… a little bit of worthless trivia about me, lol.
That’s true, it can be a good place for some things! That’s crazy, a good bit of trivia about you! 🙂 I bet that was nuts to be sitting there hearing about it live.
Thank you Dorothea! My lips will be numb again (25 degrees in the morning!), but hopefully I can channel my treadmill pace at which I just practiced and that it turns out well! 😉 Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!!
It was hilly and I didn’t PR, BUT, it was hilly and I ran about the same as the other one! So, it was overall very good! ANNND, I finished in front of more than 100 people! Hey, I have to take my positives where I can get them, 😉
Whoa! I’d hate to see and/or smell what a weeks worth would be like!!! I guess this means you do laundry quite often! Not my favorite chore but I don’t even know if I have a favorite one at this point! Just do what’chu gotta do to get things done, eh? 😀
Yes, unfortunately, the workout clothes do have to get washed about every other day or it gets unbearable, hehe. Yep, just close the eyes, grit the teeth, and just get it done! 😀
Lol, I ran 3 days in a row, in the freezing temps. I had 3 pairs of socks, and under garments, 2 pairs of tights (because I wore one pair twice), 2 pairs of track pants that I had wore over my tights, 2 short sleeve shirts, 1 long sleeve shirt, 1 light weight jacket, 3 sweatshirts, 3 pairs of gloves, 2 winter hats, 1 head band/ear warmers….within 3 days I had an extra large load of laundry!
You know you’re a runner when you write a blog article about washing running gear and everyone gets it 🙂

Laundry just sucks period! And the last thing I want to do when I come home from work is laundry! So I don’t blame you, ;).

So true!! Plus we have to go to the laundry mat which is even worse! Haha, thanks for understanding. 🙂

you know you are a runner/exerciser when you are MOST comfortable in your workout clothes. Jeans and blouses feel suffocating.. ❤

It’s true. On the rare occasion I’m not running, I only have to do laundry every two weeks XD

I find it very satisfying if I have a line full of running kit when I do the laundry- it means that I’ve had a good week!!

Yes!! You finished well. And the conditions were tough. Wait until you have a good race in good conditions: you’ll surprise yourself!
