I’m off a day on picking a song for Jamesy’s Motivational Music Monday, but I think I’m excused. I was kind of busy yesterday.  You see, Adele was playing at the Key Arena in Seattle, and we were fortunate enough to be there.  A fabulous performer to the very core, and such a down to earth girl to boot.  She interacted with the audience brilliantly, even pulling some fans on stage at different times, completely making their entire year I’m sure.  Following are scenes from the evening, a couple of videos I recorded, plus my choice for MMM.

Starting the evening off at a local restaurant, The Yard House. The food was 5-star delicious:

Her set was fabulous and the big screen was great, sometimes zooming in on her face, sometimes showing random stuff:

The first video I recorded was “Hello.”  It’s probably not as intense on the video, but Seattle put off a lot of energy for her last night:

The next one I recorded was “Skyfall.”  In this one, you can see just how cool her set really was.

As for my song for the week, I’m sticking with Adele and her latest, “Send My Love (To Your New Lover).”

If there was one performer/group that you wish could see live, who would that be?

    what an awesome recap of a wonderful Monday night date, going to be hard to beat that!! if i had to pick a performer that i wish i could have seen, that would have to be Queen…if it is one that i wish to see, hmmm then we might just have to wait and see, Adele again on the next tour 🙂

      Thanks honey!! Agree with you on Queen… and Wham! Definitely Wham! And, and, and, Tears For Fears… but who knows, we might have a chance in the future to see them, although I’m not so sure it will be the same as it would’ve back in the ’80s. Wish to see… yes, definitely Adele again! Maybe even JB… hahahaha… NOT! ;D

    I was telling Keith on Sunday ‘oh yeah, James and Paula are seeing Adele tomorrow’ I was so excited for you guys! My friend was there too. Did you see him? 😉 So glad you had a great time and wow 2 and 1/2 hours!!! Pat Benatar is coming here in August. I would like to go see her. But all thebans you mentioned earlier would be great too!

      Hehe, you’re funny!! Pat Benatar would be amazing to see as well!! Wow, yeah… are you going to get tickets? You should go! I’ll bet she puts on a fabulous show too, because that lady can sing!!

    You know who I would love to see live 🙂
    My boy Robbie of course , but a small gig with Robbie and Adele that would be absolutely fantastic ❤ ❤ ❤
    And yes to Queen also , would have loved to have seen them live in the good old days 🙂
