Round and Round

It’s Tuesday!  So that must mean it’s time for Motivational Music Monday (ha)!  Go on then!  Go check out what James has chosen for the week!  And while you’re there, add a song you’ve been listening to in the comment section!

This week it’s all about the Hamster Run.  And what do hamsters do?  Why they go Round and Round, of course!  Just like Ratt!  It just kills me that Milton Berle was in this video.  How on earth did they get Milton Berle for their video?!

Enjoy your day!!

Girl, I don’t know nothing ’bout no Ratt!
But I will say that I did spy that name on a few of my high school buddies notebooks back in the day! LOL!

Um hmm, Paula got me listening to Ratt y’all!

Well, my wordpress login is being weird, so I can’t comment on James’ post. You can copy and paste the below for him, please?!
James, I did one trail half marathon once, and it was killer. I always thought trails were fun to run, but that’s not racing them. You have to navigate and run fast… And the correct shoes are imperative! I ran the half a good 45 minutes longer than usual. It’s rough. You had a great learning experience and once you recover, I bet you’re game for more. 🙂
Also, had to say, you wrote “reader shootouts” which made me lol.
I like your song pick. My dad raised me on eighties music, so I’m a fan.
My pick for you, though, is much more contemporary. I actually don’t want to be a pop fan, but Katy Perry’s new song “Rise” is upbeat and seems useful for the last miles in a marathon or long run…
Coffee drink- I’ll find something here for you. In the meantime, the good ole cappuccino usually hits the spot, especially since milk in Germany tastes much better than the US.

Okay, this is from James, :D:
Thank you Dorothea via Paula!! Great to hear from you again and look forward to catching up on your blog. Definitely a big learning experience on the trail and that includes scaling back the time expectations. Given it was my first trail race and it was one of our hotter weekends of the summer, I’m happy with the outcome and look forward to taking on more! Awesome on the music, coffee, and picks…stop by a German Starbucks sometime when you get a chance!! And, I better fix that typo…don’t need my few readers to be engaging in shootouts!!
