This past Sunday was a beautiful day on the Sound, so we opted to go out for lunch. Because of the previous day’s activities (Hamster Run), no one felt like cooking, so this seemed like the most logical solution… besides, it was nice family time, all 3 of us. I can just imagine what people thought when they saw us trying to walk.
Ivar’s Seafood in Mukilteo backs up right onto the water at the ferry terminal, so we had great views.
Lots of activity going on as well, watching the people and cars going on and off the ferry.
If you look left of center in the above picture, there’s a white spot. That’s Mt. Baker. Here, I’ll zoom in for you:
Quite a few people were out, just enjoying the parks and the water.
And special for the haters (haha, #kiddingnotkidding), we had some very special guests join us for lunch:
Squirrel count: 27. And we’ve only just begun…
Have a great Thursday!!
Great photos… And
Pokemon!

Thank you!! Soooo, do you play then?

Ha ha. No. I don’t have a smart phone or the urge to play. My brother plays, though, and it’s a neat concept.

Oh, yes, you’ve just got to come here! But if you don’t like the rain, come in July through September! You’ll love it! And absolutely we’ll need to hook up!! That would be awesome! As well, I will eventually need to run a race where you are… soooo…. just saying! 😀

Paula- those pictures only made me resolve to move as soon as possible! I like the location of the restaurant. Fingers crossed that my husband finds a job in the Pacific Northwest. 🙂

Oh, yes, fingers crossed then! It is so gorgeous here! I moved here from Arizona and love every bit of it, minus the traffic, but to me, this is definitely God’s country! And I love the rain… I’m one of those who actually get cranky when there’s too many days of straight sun, haha! So, yes, crossing my fingers for you! 😀

Oh, the fish and chips are out of this world. My husband, who is from the UK, says they’re the best! All I know is I do indeed love them! (Hope you’ve had your breakfast by now, haha)

I used to live in AZ as well. Phoenix, as a matter of fact! My husband and I truly enjoyed AZ but after this ridiculous heatwave this summer we are looking for a more temperate area. LOL.

I was actually born in Globe, went to high school in Safford, and lived in Tucson. Spent my entire life in Arizona until we moved here! I loved Arizona as it was my home, but I won’t ever regret moving up here. The beauty of the area alone is worth it!! 😀
