The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another.

Apparently the theme for spring this year is pink. I’ll take it. It looks kind of pretty against a blue sky.
Any sign of spring in your neighborhood yet? (Or autumn, whichever the case may be? 😀 )
Wow! Beautiful.

We had a very lovely day yesterday. Not so much the next few days.
That is so beautiful . . . unfortunately it does not look like that here. We don’t even have leaves on the trees yet! The bulbs are coming up, but I haven’t actually seen any of them flowering yet.

These trees popped out overnight, I swear. We poured on Saturday, then Sunday, it was like flowers everywhere. My tulips are in sad shape though… I should’ve taken a picture of them… but it’s from all the rain, really and truly it is, lol!

At least it was snow & sleet like us. You have much milder temps than us, usually.

There are some daffodils in the brush behind my yard that I thought our last snow had smothered.. turns out they were tough! Noticed them just the other day 🙂

Tomorrow we will be in the 80s. So, technically I guess we have skipped spring. At least for one day. Love those pictures, Paula. Looks like perfect running weather.

Thank you Susan! It’s super nice right now, yayyy! Hope the weather “chills out” for you! (Haha, get it, :D) It’s too early to be so hot unless you live in the desert!! ;D

Exactly. The humidity was at 54% when I was in the woods walking my dog. Good times.

Beautiful photos! We’re also enjoying all of the flowering trees and spring bulbs that have bloomed. The weather has been gorgeous here in NC. I love this time of year.

Hahaha, thank you Gwin!! How long has your bestie been here now? Is she adjusting well to the weather? I recently saw some yellow start to come up too… unfortunately they’re skunk lillies, so I won’t take any big sniffs, but they complement the pink, lol!

Hey Paula 🙂
She has been there for one full year so she has had a chance to see all the seasons. Recently she bragged about being able to go to the Tulip Festival. She missed it by ONE week last year!
You know…I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a skunk lily! LOL!

Okay then, I’ll have to post a picture of a skunk Lily! They’re gorgeous, but P-U!! I hate running by them, 😅

Thanks Katie. My favorite time and temp is Autumn. Crisp air, but not cold, and I love the colors of fall, 🙂
